High-tech move for e-know.net
e-know.net, the Telford based managed services company is cementing its future growth by building a new state-of-the-art data centre that will provide high level, secure, dedicated IT facilities to its clients.
e-know.net, which was previously based at Telford Plaza, has now taken on units on Queensway Business Park, at Hadley Park.
The company is now starting the process of transforming the buildings to create facilities which use the very latest technology to help it deliver high quality IT services.
Managing Director Nigel Redwood said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have secured these new premises and it’s a very exciting time for our entire team. We’re now working hard to transform the interior of the building, with the aim of unveiling the new data centre early next year.”
e-know.net was established in 2000 and has grown rapidly, serving over 250 customers in 20 countries, with over 6,500 users across the world.
e-know.net is a managed service provider delivering application hosting, software as a service, and business continuity to a wide range of clients, particularly in key markets such as professional services, manufacturing, automotive, and SMEs.
The company hosts customers’ computer applications and data on its servers, removing all their IT maintenance and security issues.
During its search for new premises, e-know.net has been supported by the Investment Team at Transforming Telford – the economic development company for the area.
Anne Taylor, Director of Business and Investment, said: “Any business that can deliver growth during a recession must be doing something right. And while most companies are simply grateful to be surviving these difficult economic times, it’s excellent news to see that e-know.net are striving to grow even further.
The move to the Queensway Business Park will help the company to develop their customer base and give them the opportunity to expand even more.”
