Purpose of Job: |
To support the e-know.net sales team to
increase revenue in line with Company
and individual sales targets, and to
process customer base orders. |
An Internal Sales Executive is required
to provide general administration
support to the e-know.net and messagehub
sales teams and to process add on sales
to the current customer base. The
Internal Sales Person will also have a
direct sales role for sales
opportunities that fall within
well-defined parameters.
It is envisaged that the Internal Sales
Executive has the long term aim to join
the full sales team, either e-know.net
or messagehub.
The successful applicant should have an
understanding of business operations,
software applications and the technology
available to deliver IT business
solutions.

Responsibilities:
The Internal Sales Person will
have the following responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for
getting, processing and managing
orders from the customer base. Such
sales would include:-
- Communication line
sales, including ADSL, SDSL and
leased lines
- Blackberry
handhelds
- Hardware orders,
including Printers, PC's, Scanner
etc
- Solution add on's
and upgrades
- You will support the marketing
team and help develop and deliver mailing and
telemarketing campaigns that will
generate qualified sales opportunities
for the
sales teams.
- Making inbound and outbound
business to business calls qualifying
prospects and leads as a follow up to
events, marketing and website
inquires.
- Keeping the database up to date
- You will be enthusiastic and be
able to generate leads, manage sale
prospects through to generating
qualified sales opportunities.
- You will support the sales team
with administration duties such as
answering calls in their absence and
assisting where necessary.
- Whilst you will be expected to be
able to perform diligently and
successfully, you will also be given
independence, but enjoy full support
from the team. If you join us we will

Personal Specification:
The right candidate should possess
the following:-
- A good level of education
- A full driving license

This role requires experience in

- You must be able to talk lucidly
and knowledgeably to Prospects and
Customer’s senior management.
- Sales experience is not a
pre-requisite however enthusiasm, a
positive attitude and the ability to
react quickly to new opportunities
are essential.
- Degree level qualification or
experience in Business Studies,
Accountancy, IT or similar
discipline.
- The candidate must be skilled in
the use of the MS suite of products
from MS Word and Excel through to
PowerPoint and bespoke applications.
- The candidate must be able to
produce high quality reports,
documents, letters and proposals.
- A years experience in industry
is desirable but not essential.
- The right candidate will be able
to communicate comfortably via the
telephone, e-mail and in writing.
- Understanding of the Internet,
networking and security is
desirable.
A highly enthusiastic contribution to
the team is the most important asset
that you can bring.
Location:
- Must be located within a 30 mile
radius of Telford – re-location
expenses will not be paid.
- You will be based at our office
in Telford, but you should be
prepared to attend customer sites up
and down the country to shadow our
sales team and introduce yourself to
our customer base.
- Your hours of work will be from
9.00am – 5.30pm. However the company
would expect the candidate to work
as necessary outside these hours to
achieve their goals.
Salary and Benefits:
- Scale 3.2 £17,000 – 3.5 £20,000 pa
neg basic + commission.
- Contributory pension scheme
following successful probation
- Company business mileage paid
(excludes travel to and from work)
- 25 days annual holiday plus
statutory
- Six months Probation in a fully
managed Probation scheme
