Purpose of Job: |
To support the e-know.net sales team to
increase revenue in line with Company
and individual sales targets. |
An Internal Sales & Telemarketing
Executive is required to provide
telemarketing and general administration
support to the e-know.net Business
Solutions and ASP sales teams. It is
envisaged that the Internal Sales &
Telemarketing Executive will also have a direct
sales role for sales opportunities that
fall within well-defined parameters.
The applicant will be
expected to design, introduce and manage
a comprehensive marketing strategy that
will fully support an aggressive sales
growth policy.
The successful
applicant should have an understanding
of business operations, software
applications and the technology
available to deliver IT business
solutions. A Business Studies,
Accounting or Business Studies graduate
would be suited to the role. Ideally,
you will have at least 1 year industry
experience.
e-know.net Limited is
a five-year-old Application Services
Provider (ASP). We host and manage
applications on behalf of our customers.
This may include continuing utilisation
of their existing solutions and/or use
of software products from our own
portfolio.
Clients connect to us
via a variety of methods, using the
Internet, point-to-point connections or
VPN technology.
The technology we
deploy utilises Citrix as the main
development tool whilst incorporating
the latest security software and
resilient hardware platforms.
Applications include many Microsoft
products, OFFICE, CRM, Navision and
specific customer packages.
You will be joining a

Responsibilities:
The Internal Sales & Telemarketing
Executive will
have the following responsibilities:

You will be involved
in the introduction of marketing
activities that are geared to generate
new business for the Company. The
ultimate need is for marketing to
develop a lead generation program that
will enable the sales team to achieve
100% compound growth year on year.
These will include;
- Developing our existing partner
channels
- Pre sales assistance
- Organising seminars and
presentations
- Existing Customer product days
- Direct selective mail campaigns
- Sales literature management
- Direct lead generation campaigns
- Telemarketing
- Web marketing
- Your own initiatives
- You will be responsible for
developing and delivering mailing and
telemarketing campaigns that will
generate qualified sales opportunities
for the Business Solutions and ASP
sales teams.
- Making inbound and outbound
business to business calls qualifying
prospects and leads as a follow up to
events, marketing and website
inquires.
- Keeping the database up to date
and also attending trade shows and
events
- You must be able to talk lucidly
and knowledgeably to Prospects and
Customer’s senior management.
- You will be enthusiastic and be
able to generate leads, manage sale
prospects through to generating
qualified sales opportunities.
- You will also have a direct sales
role for sales opportunities that fall
within well-defined parameters.
- Whilst you will be expected to be
able to perform diligently and
successfully, you will also be given
independence, but enjoy full support
from the team. If you join us we will

This role requires experience in
the following:
- Sales experience is not a
pre-requisite however enthusiasm, a
positive attitude and the ability to
react quickly to new opportunities are
essential.
- Degree level qualification or
experience in Business Studies,
Accountancy, IT or similar discipline
- The candidate must be skilled in
word processing and spreadsheet work,
and have used Windows applications or
similar.
- A years experience in industry is
desirable but not essential
- Use of laptop or PC Desktop
- Use of Windows and Office
- Understanding of the Internet,
networking and security
- Knowledge of Desktop Applications

Location:
- Must be located within a 40 mile
radius of Telford – re-location
expenses will not be paid.
Salary and Benefits:
- Basic plus Bonus (based on lead
generation, sales, and other defined
targets)
- Contributory Pension Scheme
- Company business mileage paid at
35p/mile (excludes travel to and from
work)
- 25 days annual holiday plus
statutory
