Purpose of Job: |
To provide both post and pre-sales
Navision consultancy to e-know.net’s
customer and prospective customers.
The position will also fulfil an
internal Financial Administrator role. |
e-know.net Limited is a five-year-old
Application Services Provider (ASP). We
host and manage applications on behalf
of our customers. This may include
continuing utilisation of their existing
solutions and/or use of software
products from our own portfolio.
Clients connect to
us via a variety of methods, using the
Internet, point-to-point connections or
VPN technology.
The technology we
deploy utilises Citrix as the main
development tool whilst incorporating
the latest security software and
resilient hardware platforms.
Complete ASP based
Business Solutions are supplied to
clients based on the award winning
Microsoft Business Solutions Navision
enterprise software. At the core of the
Navision solution is a world-class
financial module and, as such, all
Navision implementations require a high
degree of accountancy skills input in
order to ensure that the systems are set
up to deliver the best possible
management and financial analysis.
The successful
applicant for the position of Navision
Consultant should have formal accounting
qualifications and have a broad
understanding of business operations in
a manufacturing and distribution
environment. Experience of Navision
would be an advantage.
e-know.net use the
Navision software internally and the
successful applicant will also fulfil
the role of Financial Administrator. It
is estimated that this will take no more
than 20% of the successful applicants
available work time.

Responsibilities:
The Navision Consultant will have the
following responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the
delivery of Navision consultancy
(training and implementation support)
to new e-know.net Navision Business
Solution Clients
- You will deliver Navision
consultancy (training and post
implementation support) to existing
e-know.net Navision Business Solution
Clients
- You will provide pre-sales support
to Business Solutions Sales executives
- You will fulfil the role of
Financial Administrator within
e-know.net on a part time basis
- You must be able to talk lucidly
and knowledgeably to Prospects and
Customer’s senior management.
- Whilst you will be expected to be
able to perform diligently and
successfully, you will also be given
independence, but enjoy full support
from the team. If you join us we will

This role requires experience in
the following:
- Use of laptop or PC Desktop
- Knowledge of Desktop Applications
- The candidate must be skilled in
word processing and spreadsheet work,
have experience in industry or a
relevant profession and have used
Windows applications or similar
- Web sites and e-commerce
- Industry experience in traditional
in-house IT solutions
- Industry experience in project
implementations of business and
accounting systems
- Industry experience in MBS
Navision is not essential, but is
advantageous
- Industry experience in ASP systems
is not essential, but is advantageous
- Industry experience in processing
sales, purchase and general ledger and
the preparation of draft management
accounts

Location:
- Must be located within a 40 mile
radius of Telford – re-location
expenses will not be paid.
Salary and Benefits:
- Full training in Navision will be
provided and the successful applicant
will be expected to achieve
accreditation as Navision Certified
Representative.

35p/mile (excludes travel to and from
work)
